Our goal is to give children a week unlike any other they’ll experience all year long. We strive to create the most exciting experience possible where a child can learn about God, themselves, and others all in a safe and encouraging environment. It is truly the desire of Camp Piankatank that campers learn the simple, yet very important fact that God loves them and that God has a plan for their lives. Registration is still open!
Camp Piankatank, perched on 90 acres above the beautiful Piankatank River, has a lot to offer visitors. Located in Hartfield, Virginia (just a few miles from the Chesapeake Bay), we are owned and operated by the Virginia Baptist Mission Board. Guests need not be Baptist or church organizations in order to reserve the camp.
Here a guest can enjoy scenic beauty and stillness not found in every-day life.
We have 7 cabin style buildings. In 2010 we opened 3 new duplex lodges. Each duplex lodge sleeps 36. We also have 4 older cabins that sleep 16-18 people each. Also available for overnight use is The Lodge, nestled close to the river. This building can sleep up to 11 guests.
Our facility offers a total of 180 beds.
